What is a TWAP Order?

Advanced TWAP orders let you execute trades over time with much more control than standard TWAP. You can set price bounds, use limit or market execution, and run strategies from minutes to up to 3 years. This makes it easy to DCA, protect against slippage, and automate execution with full flexibility. TWAP suborders have a maximum slippage of 3%

• Min / Max Price: Define a price range so your TWAP only executes within your chosen bounds.

• Limit Order Compatibility: Choose to execute as limit orders instead of market, giving you more control over entry/exit, by clicking the Market dropdown.

• Duration (up to 3 years): Run your TWAP over minutes, hours, days, or even years for long-term DCA strategies.

• Order Frequency: Lit automatically decides how often slices are placed (e.g., every 1 minute) based on your total size and duration.
