# Scale Order

## What is a Scale Order?

**Scale** orders (AKA **Ladder** orders.) place multiple limit orders in a set price area specified by you!

## Place a Scale Order

* Pick **Scale** from the order type dropdown
* Set your **Start Price** & **End Price** manually or by moving the draft lines on the chart
* Set your order **Size** in USDC or asset units
* Set the number sub-orders in the **Scale Order**
* Press **Long** or **Short** to place your order
