## What does reversing a position do?

* Fully closes your open position&#x20;
* Opens same size position but in the opposite direction

> **Example:** In the case of a <mark style="color:green;">**1 BTC Long**</mark> position, clicking the Reverse Position button will result in a <mark style="color:red;">**1 BTC Short**</mark> position.
